Jute is a fibrous herbaceous plant which grows as a bush measuring between 2 and 4 metres  in height. It has a  rigid, fibrous trunk which sprouts 2 cm diameter branches at the top. Its leaves are stalked, triangular blades 10 to 15 cm long by 5 cm. Jute fibers are from 1 to 4 m long…We could go on about jute but what we really want to say is, we know how to make fantastic espadrilles from it.
